Gateway to Innovate has created a pathway for organisations to trial and test innovations on Transport for NSW projects.
Successful proposals have been announced, marking a significant step toward uplifting productivity across the sector.
The selected proposals will commence pilots on select Transport projects in 2025, paving the way for potential industry-wide adoption.
Digital Engineering is revolutionising the construction industry. Our Digital Engineering Framework brings together various project disciplines from across the project lifecycle, to establish a consistent, structured and reusable approach to the way data is created and maintained.
We have undertaken extensive engagement to understand and rectify the end-to-end design process. From this engagement we have developed a plan to action and optimise organisational practices by identifying 32 key initiatives and aligned with NSW Government Action Plan commitments.
Transport is working to establish a new industry standard for the use of AI powered drones for bridge safety inspections. The program has lead to the training of 20 pilots across NSW. Drones make inspections safer by removing the risks of working at heights and are less disruptive for commuters.
